The world's parks ยท one ticket
How to Play
Two ways through the gate: ride solo against the leaderboards, or open a free multiplayer room and race your friends through the same 10 questions.
Solo play
- Tap SOLO PLAY, pick one of the 21 categories and a difficulty, and add your name for the leaderboard.
- Answer 10 questions against a 45-second clock on each. Your score posts to the global, per-category and weekly leaderboards, and your best score in every category + difficulty is saved on your device.
- Tapping a category tile on the home screen jumps straight into solo setup with that category picked.
Multiplayer rooms
- Tap MULTIPLAYER โ CREATE ROOM. You get a 4-letter code โ friends enter it under JOIN ROOM on their own phones or browsers.
- The host picks the category and difficulty, then taps START THE RIDE. Everyone gets the same questions, in the same order, at the same time.
- During a question you can see who has locked in an answer โ never what they picked. Standings update live after every reveal.
- Dropped connection? Rejoin with the same name and room code and you pick your score back up โ even mid-round. A room stays alive while anyone is still in it.
- The room's language follows the host: an English room plays in English, a Spanish room in Spanish.
Scoring
- Correct answer: base points by difficulty โ 100 on Guest, 150 on Passholder, 250 on Legend.
- Speed bonus: +8 points for every second left on the clock when you answered โ up to +360 for an instant answer.
- Streak bonus: +10 points ร your current streak (a 5-answer streak adds +50 to that answer). A wrong answer or a timeout resets the streak.
Tiebreakers โ no coin flips
Final standings rank by score, then most correct answers, then fastest average answer time. If two guests are still dead level on all three, they share the win โ the results screen names you both, and the next rank skips accordingly (1, 1, 3).
Difficulties
- Guest (Easy) โ famous rides, big parks, household names.
- Passholder (Medium) โ opening years, designers, park lore.
- Legend (Expert) โ deep cuts: stats, defunct rides, and details only lifers know.
The voice narrator
Every question is read aloud by Bill, our vintage-Americana announcer โ in English or Spanish to match the game. Narration is on by default; tap the ๐ VOICE button on the home screen to mute or unmute. It stops the moment you answer, so it never talks over the next question.
Leaderboards
The leaderboard button opens global standings for every category, with a This Week tab for the current week's scores. Your device also keeps a personal trophy room of your best days, and your best badge shows as a marker next to your name on your own standings rows.
Achievements โ the trophy case
The Achievements button opens your trophy case: 18 park badges, every one earned by playing. Solo rounds and multiplayer rooms both count. Win a Legend-tier round for Imagineer, play all 21 categories for Park Hopper, go 10-for-10 for Perfect Day, average under 5 seconds an answer for Speed Pass, or climb the Coaster Credit ladder at 100, 1,000 and 10,000 career answers. When you earn one, a toast celebrates it on the results screen, and the badge lands in your case with the date you won it.
Your trophy case and career counters live on your device, under the name you play with. If you have already posted solo scores, the game works out which badges those scores had already earned and adds them automatically โ stamped with the date of the score that earned them, never a made-up one. Two kinds of badges can't be reconstructed from old scores, so they start counting from the games you play next: the Coaster Credit career milestones (old leaderboards never counted your total answers) and Speed Pass (old leaderboards never recorded answer times). Nothing is ever backdated or estimated.
